ZVOX 575

$800.00 Released September, 2009

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Dual 6.5" woofers. Powerful. 5 individual 3.25" drivers.

The Cons:Very expensive - the equivalent of a fairly capable surround system. No way of knowing volume, tone and surround settings unless one uses the remote control. 3.25" drivers are still fairly small - cannot match the bass performance and volume of larger woofers.

The ZVOX 575 is one of ZVOX’s most powerful, single-cabinet sound bars released in 2009. It features a high-powered PhaseCue virtual surround sound system with dual 6.5” subwoofers in a spacious cabinet—giving it the bass equivalent to a 10” external powered subwoofer.

Included also are five 3.25” high-performance speakers and a super-charged 133W amplifier, which together with the subwoofer create a surround-sound experience similar to two speakers 8’ apart from one another. Like its numerous peers (415, 430, 440, etc), the ZVOX 575’s superior components are embedded in a hand-built, cross-braced woof (MDF) cabinet with hand-lacquered, high-gloss black end panels. It is powerful and features a sophisticated design, but might be considered over-priced by some.
