Yamaha YIDW10
Released January, 2010
The Pros:Real-time communication - Audio and Video synchronization. Approximately 20M signal rage. Nice looking charge station.
The Cons:$150.
The best thing to happen to iPods since the iPod Dock itself. Just like any other dock it'll charge when docked, but now you can wirelessly take your ipod around the house; while still listening to your music, playing games, or watching Youtube or movie.

Yamaha's yAired technology is not only LPCM, uncompressed, it has virtually no lag, so lip-sync is a non issue now too.

#yamaha_yidw10 Once I get an iPhone this will be the Dock for me. I've seen it in use and it is awesome!
Just as with many other manufacturers trying to get the -
'Works with iPod / iPhone / iPad' certificates'
Yamaha can NOT officially say it works with the iPad.
One of the reasons it is so hard to get the OK from apple is that it apparently must meet certain Charging criteria, which is totally understandable. That said, if you find a product you like, but it doesn't say it works with your generation iPhone /iPad, Look into it further... it just might work anyhow... it just might be a slow charge.
My point is, the YIDW10 works with the iPad too, it just doesn't charge. If it does charge it, it might be REALLY slow.
The YIDW10, to me, is the perfect complement to the iPad.
