Product Shot 1 The Pros:Speakers and subwoofer are very compact and can be wall mounted. Supports a decent number of formats--DivX, MP3, WMA, WMV, JPEG. IPod dock comes included--something that usually costs extra at this price point.

The Cons:Poor visual aesthetic--finish is too glossy and rounded. Very pricey for a basic 2.1-channel system. Doesn't support video playback from iPods.

The Samsung HT-X710 speaker system consists of two speakers and a subwoofer. The HT-X710 produces a total sound output of 400 watts.  This system is compatible with mainstream  DVD  and CD discs, and supports DivX, MP3 and JPEG formats.

Included is a connection system that is composed of  an HDMI socket, an auxiliary input and a USB port for connecting external devices. The two speaker towers come in Samsung's gloss piano-black finish with minor red accents. Also contained in this package is a multi-function remote which can be programmed for a television or iPod/portable media player dock. Wall mounting brackets for the speakers and subwoofer are also included.
