Onkyo UP-HT1
$160.00
Released May, 2009
The Pros:Setup is plug-and-play, very little to it. Internal USB hub enables other devices to be connected and pass-through to the receiver at high speed. More presets than most users will ever have a use for.
The Cons:HD stations tend to drop out after awhile. Frequent quality control problems reported - needs to be thoroughly checked when received. Not compatible with all head units - difficult to tell ahead of time which ones will recognize it.

Essentially, this port allows the tuner to transmit HD radio signals via a single USB to the receiver. Included with this device are also 40 random presets for AM and FM stations. Most unique about the Onkyo UP-HT1 is its rear-side Universal Port input, which gives users the option of “daisy-chaining” a second compatible device.
