The Pros:Tech support is quickly available 24 hours a day. Durably constructed, hardware will last for years without a problem. Draws minimal power while in operation.
The Cons:Needs to be hard-connected to the router for initial configuration - not well documented detail. Needs to connect to Rhapsody directly, but you can't select a playlist. No GUI available, need a computer to control the device.
The Linksys DMP100 Player is a part of the new Linksys by Cisco Wireless Home Audio (WHA) line. The WHA is a multi-zone, entire-house audio system that connects together using draft 802.11n wireless networking, Ethernet, and DLNA 1.5 to create a system that allows the user to wirelessly play and control music in every room of the home and can be pieced together by cost and need.

The Linksys DMP100 Wireless-N Music Extender is designed to fit with a user's sound system or powered speakers and connect them to the user's wireless home network to allow the user access to their digital library of music files. The DMP100 allows the user to wirelessly play different songs in different rooms or play the same song in all rooms of the home.
