The Insignia NS-DXA1 is a DTV converter box that allows analog TVs to receive digital channels. On February 17th, 2009, all TV in the U.S. becomes digital, so analog TVs that receive over-the-air TV through an antennae will require a DTV converter to continue to watch broadcast TV channels.
