The Coby DVD988 is a DVD home theater soundbar system offered by Coby Electronics. This all in one system is enclosed in an attractive wooden cabinet and features a progressive scan DVD player, two 75W satellite drivers and a 150W subwoofer driver for 300W of total output power.

The DVD player is capable of playing DVD, DVD+/-R/RW, CD and CD-R/RW discs, and there is a built in USB port and SD/MMC/MS card reader. It is capable of playing MPEG-1, MPEG-2 (DVD) and JPEG formats, features Dolby surround technology and has a built in AM/FM tuner with 40-station preset. There are RCA component, composite and S-Video outputs, RCA stereo, coaxial digital and optial audio outputs and RCA stereo inputs for maximum connectivity. The Coby DVD988 comes with remote control, batteries, AM loop antenna, FM antenna and AV cable.
