Whether placed flush atop a cabinet or mounted to a wall, Flexmount technology helps to maximize sound quality through automatic detection of the speaker's orientation, adjusting levels and equalization accordingly. Using TrueSpace and PhaseGuide technologies the 135 can produce a soundstage that is much larger than its physical components, using a number of different phasing and array techniques to create full-fledged stereo width. Low frequencies are handled via the dedicated Acoustimass module, a subwoofer component that can be placed virtually anywhere within a room due to its wireless design. All connections are made via a separate control console that includes multiple inputs and outputs, 4 HDMI jacks, 2 HD audio ports and an integrated AM/FM radio tuner. A dedicated iPod dock is also included that is compatible with most iPod Touch and iPhone models, alongside a fully-featured remote control complete with an LCD display for simple configuration and content playback. Customers with existing Bose products can use Bose Link technology to synchronize playback in up to 14 rooms for unified household playback.
